Shore's recent scores include Prime (Universal Studios) starring Meryl Streep and Uma Thurman; Harvard Man (Lions Gate) starring Adrian Grenier and Sarah Michelle Gellar; Scout's Honor starring Bill Murray and Alec Baldwin; Vulgar (Lions Gate) produced by Kevin Smith; Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer (Anchor Bay) which he recorded and conducted with the 93-piece Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra, and was named Ain't It Cool News' Top 10 Scores of 2008; the comedy Lower Learning (Starz) starring Rob Corddry, Jason Biggs, Eva Longoria, and Kyle Gass; Numb starring Matthew Perry and Mary Steenburgen; and The Girl Next Door (Anchor Bay). He also composed original on-camera music for Fur (New Line), starring Nicole Kidman and Robert Downey, Jr., for which he was seen in the film performing his original music.
Upcoming releases in 2009 include Shadows, written and directed by Academy Award nominee Milcho Manchevski which was selected as Macedonia's official submission for the Academy Awards; Made for Each Other starring Bijou Phillips, Danny Masterson, Chris Masterson and Patrick Warburton; the animation Articles of War which he recorded and conducted with the Skywalker Symphony Orchestra at the Skywalker Ranch; the Southern comedy Skiptracers; and the horror film Home Movie (Anchor Bay).
For his score for Cadaverous, he received the Elmer Bernstein Scoring Award, which was personally adjudicated and presented by Academy Award winning composer Elmer Bernstein (To Kill a Mockingbird, The Magnificent Seven), with Mr. Bernstein commenting that "a special marriage has taken place between the music and the film".
Shore's scores also include Kettle of Fish starring Matthew Modine and Gina Gershon; Lift starring Kerry Washington (Ray); Headspace starring William Atherton (Ghostbusters) and Dee Wallace-Stone (E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial); Call Me: The Rise and Fall of Heidi Fleiss (20th Century Fox) starring Jamie-Lynn Sigler (The Sopranos); Confession starring Chris Pine (Star Trek), 212 (Sundance Film Festival); and Coney Island Baby (Sundance Channel). Shore's extensive work in film also includes producing the music for the Saturday Night Live Studios theatrical logo, orchestrations for Analyze This (Warner Brothers) and Dogma (Lions Gate); and source music arranging for The Game (PolyGram Filmed Entertainment).
In addition to scoring for film, he plays saxophone, clarinet and flute and has performed with Matchbox Twenty on tour of the U.S, including a special street performance on The Late Show with David Letterman.
