Michael Adam

Michael Adam brings home a rhythm and straight forward lyrics reminiscent of Johnny Cash with the melodic sensibility of a Ryan Adams. His songs are memorable, easy to sing along to, and full of a heart that you can relate to.
He was born under the Mayan moon in Guatemala City. Braved the trains, planes and taxis in Europe. Somehow he ended up here and there. He now resides by the mountainsides of Boulder, CO.
With some broken hearts and no home, Michael Adam picked up a guitar, wrote some songs and then wrote some more. He stepped on stage. People liked him and dug his tunes.
About his forthcoming EP, he says, "Music takes time and patience. I've worked long and hard to get these songs just right and am very excited to put out my EP. I hope people can relate and sing along"
Recorded in the early Boulder mornings before his masters classes, Michael Adam laid down his tracks running back and forth from the studio. One time he even had to buy a huge bag of salt to melt all the ice that bedded his beat-up mini van on the road to meet his producer. "That was crazy. And that's commitment."
