Haftbefehl end his school career according to some informations, without an graduation.[2] and fled in 2006 because of his upcoming imprisonment through cheating in the Turkish city Istanbul. From there on he moved to Netherlands, were he lived for a short time in Amsterdam and Arnheim. Around this time Haftbefehl wrote his first rap lyrics.
