Poole is a band from Virginia. On Alaska Days (Spinart, 1995) they play lightweight pop that doesn't stick, with the notable exception of Snowcycle. The Late Engagement (Spinart, 1997) enhances the guitar sounds in the hope of anchoring their pop feathers to something solid. Only Sparkler succeeds.
