by Jason AnkenyLaTour was the alias of Chicago-based house producer William LaTour, who in 1991 scored a major club crossover smash with the novelty hit People Are Still Having Sex, featured on his self-titled debut LP. Subsequent attempts to repeat this early success — like the follow-up Allens Got a New Hi-Fi — failed, however, and 1993s Home on the Range appeared to little notice, with LaTour dropping entirely out of sight soon after.
