eerie days are a norwegian duo with karina damstuen on vocals and espen ludvigsen on guitars, keys, programming and vocals. we are based in oslo, but have a strong connection to tromsø as well. since fall 2005 we have been searching for sounds and words to mirror our creative and intellectual processes.
during the creation of the demos we have been haunted by the beauty of the arctic nature, its melancholy and contrasts: chaos and harmony, vitality and gloominess, purity and texture. for us the arctic is a reflection of the social community we are a part of – a cold, but yet frictional community.
