René Dohmen and Joachim Dürbeck compose music for film and television, theatre, commercials and artists. Their work covers a lot of ground - from classical songwriting to electronic music as well as orchestral and abstract-experimental film scores.
At the Filmfest Valencia D&D were awarded the film music award for "Magic Eye" by Kujtim Cashku. In 2008 D&D received the film music award at the Max Ophüls Festival for "Selbstgespräche". The Movie "Chandani: The Daughter Of The Elephant Whisperer" for which D&D scorded the music, won the German Film Award in the category "Best Chlidren's movie".
