Sanny Santos

It began at the age of five when she started to realize her profound love for music through the acoustic instrumental arrangements in the Brooklyn, New York basement of her Dominican family. At the age of eleven she joined the local church choir which opened her eyes to a new world of music performance. At the age of thirteen she wrote her first song. At the age of sixteen she was discovered by a Spanish music Bachata group called Iluxion, whom at the time was in the search for their next female group singer. At the age of eighteen she moved from Pennsylvania back to New York to pursue her budding career in the music industry. At age twenty she joined another bachata music group named Adyktion, she wrote songs and helped create melodies that established a fusion within both rhythm & blues and urban bachata music. The group fell apart months later. However, Sanny continued to push forward and decided to audition to form part of a female PoP group and was immediately selected. After a few months it was evident that her creativity and writing would take her to another level. She was determined to work harder on her passion and knowledge of music and focus more on being a solo artist. She began performing, consistently writing and continues to express her emotions, thoughts, fun and heartfelt experiences with the world.

Sanny Santos has performed in venues throughout the metropolitan New York City area, as well as venues in, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware. Her biggest event has been in front of a crowd of over hundreds of people for the ADA Association in 2010, 2012, & 2013. She has also been taped on the Diamante Show on MNN. With no team behind her and a creative mind, the young independent entrepreneur Sanny Santos is ready to distribute her love for writing and music. In her music you find pain, hope, love and female empowerment.

Singer/songwriter Sanny Santos describes herself as a diverse artist, one who loves and enjoys experimenting and trying new sounds. With her marked ability to perform and act on stage there is no doubt of her presence and vocal abilities that stand out from the rest. Her musical background derives from the Latin world with a fusion of POP, R&B, and Hip Hop to name a few. Her records can be found on national digital stores such as iTunes and Amazon. A&R's have described her latest EP release as radio and label ready and others have stated there are two singles found in this EP. Accomplishing all this on her own, Sanny Santos continues her pursuit and passion for music. Her next project date has not yet been finalized, but there is a guaranteed release within the next few months.

I speak the truth and fail to ever lie. I rather play in the field than sit in the sidelines...I refuse to hear a no because I believe in try. So when you close the door you push me harder to strive. I am not going to sell myself short for a temporary glory. I rather be patient , work with God and all he has showed me. In time all is revealed...for now I sing, I work, and make music that speaks & is real.
