Started as an excuse for two friends to jam, Our Smallest Adventures soon became a fully fledged musical concern as a side project for Beep! Beep! Ping! members Martyn and Sandy for material which they didn't feel was appropriate the aforementioned band. Then Sandy left and Robin and William joined.
A summer of many gigs followed, then Robin and William left to move to Glasgow and Our Smallest Adventures lay dormant for a while. Motivated once again by an excuse to jam, Scott and Martyn began making music together in mid 2010. They have once again been joined by Robin McKinven, this time playing acoustic guitar and bass and have now also been joined by former A Day Overdue and Step Down member Stephen Mckie on drums. Recent additions to the lineup are Mathew Webster on bass and synth and the welcome return of Sandy Power on the cello. The band also frequently enlist the help of Glasgow born, Brighton based musician Oliver Melville, who has thus far remixed two tracks and improved them greatly.
