Damnation Angels

Damnation Angels are taking the world by storm and redefining Symphonic Metal in the process. Formed in Britain late 2006, the band has gained a reputation for huge drum beats, monstrous riffing, powerful and expertly performed vocals all blended with the massive power of the orchestra. Having perfected their live performance playing many shows around the UK with bands such as Sabaton the band decided it was time to take it to the next level.
 
In February 09 the band headed to Grindstone studios Ipswich to create a new benchmark in symphonic metal with the aid of esteemed producer Scott Atkins (Sylosis, Cradle Of Filth). After many months of hard work “Shadow Symphony” was born and with the aid of top Finnish artist Jan Yrlund (Korpiklaani, Turisas, Manowar) “Shadow Symphony” would be brought to life and the vision would be complete. 
 
Shadow Symphony was greeted with rave reviews from critics stating that the band are &the brightest spark to emerge upon the UK scene in a very long time& and are &comparable with mega acts such as AVANTASIA and BLIND GUARDIAN& delivering &symphonic Grandiloquence Metal with the emphasis on the Metal that bands such as Kamelot, Rhapsody Of Fire and Nightwish can’t seem to be able to produce anymore&. 
 
The e.p went on to sell well worldwide and after touring it extensively throughout the UK the band decided it was time to make the debut album. After many negotiations with record labels worldwide the band struck a deal with Radtone Music (Japan) and is set to released their debut album in Japan early 2012 with the rest of the world to follow. 
 
The album is to be entitled Bringer Of Light with artwork from Jan Yrlund and production from Scott Atkins.
