Agnès Milewski (born July 30, 1983 in Knurów, Poland) is an Austrian singer-songwriter who writes and sings in English with an endearing German accent. She moved from Poland to Austria with her parents at the age of four, and studied piano and classical guitar as a child. Agnès cites Joni Mitchell, Tori Amos, Kate Bush, Björk and Jorane as influences. Her lyrics are intelligent and poetic, her melodies progressive yet accessible. Her self-released debut EP, Chasing the Wind is in limited supply, sold only by Agnès at her live performances or through her website to European residents
