Daniel Nielsen's career as a writer and performer spans 25 years. Nielsen has contributed his talents to an eclectic group of commercial artists including Dizzy Gillespie, Dave Stewart, Paul Oakenfold, Joss Stone and Phil Collins.
Nielsen has successfully secured over 1,000 placements for TV and motion picture advertising including The Bourne Ultimatum, The Chronicles of Narnia, The Da Vinci Code and Spiderman. In 2002 Nielsen arranged the remarkable "Requiem for a Tower" for the Lord of the Rings theatrical trailer; one of the most licensed compositions in advertising history.
Daniel began his professional music career as a teenager performing with legendary jazz trumpeter Dizzy Gillespie. Later in his career he contributed his talents to an eclectic group of performers including, Dave Stewart, Josh Stone, Damien Marley, Wynton Marsalis, Phil Collins, Miles Davis and Paul Oakenfold.
Daniel’s compositions for motion picture advertising campaigns include; all 8 Harry Potter Films, including it’s final release “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollow – Part 2,” “Avatar,” “Transformers 1, 2 & 3,” “The Twilight Saga,” “Pirates of the Caribbean 1-4,” “Bourne Ultimatum,” “Chronicles of Naria,” “Da Vinci Code, and many, many more.
