Sirens' Song was established in 1996 in the huge city of Abilene, Texas. The group met when the members worked with one another on theatrical productions, and have been going strong ever since.
As an acoustic group, we play more than 20 instruments, specializing in guitar. With folk lyrics and pop rhythms, we prefer to sing songs that are poetic, and mostly refer to nature and the sea. However, we have been known to perform other types of music.
You can hear Sirens' Song on Celticrock.net, worldmusicwebcast.com, the Prairie Ceilidh show on CKJS 810 A.M. (Manitoba Canada), the Local Yokels radio show, and Renradio.com. Sirens' Song finished their second CD, which was released in the Spring of 2004, and is currently working on their third.
Our music is original, using folk-type lyrics and ranging from soft ballads to upbeat rock.
