NewVillager is a band and art collective from San Francisco and New York founded by Ben Bromley and Ross Simonini. NewVillager makes music, drawings, animations, performances, films, lectures, books and writings. The band uses these various mediums to translate into an experience what they refer to as the NewVillager mythology, a ten-part framework for thinking that explores change, teenage-hood, and the formation of new ideas. NewVillager’s debut self-titled album will be released by IAMSOUND records in January 2011
