Tomcope was born in 1985 on Iceland. His family emigrated to Sweden in '88 and ended up on the west coast on an island called Tjorn, not far from Gothenburg. Music was allways a central part in Tommy's growth and in his early teen years he started to write his own songs. When he finally took the step to perform on stage he found that this was his dream. At a performance on the swedish "Made in Sweden"-tour (hosted by the songwriters/producers Andreas Carlsson and Anders Bagge together with Artist Manager Laila Bagge) he recieved great reviews from Laila Bagge, said he had "an amazing voice". In April 2010, tomcope won the OpeningAct competition for Swedish Idol winner Erik Grönwall, and his performance was a popular success! Predicted a great future, tomcope is allways up for new challenges and eager to spread his music worldwide. So, keep your eyes and ears open if you want more!
