Erin Rioux (pronounced ree-yoo) is an electronic psychedelic record producer, vocalist, and curator based in Brooklyn, NY. His work under his last name merges organic instrumentation with technology in a rhythmic and cerebral sonic environment. Rioux grew up in metro Detroit and moved to New York City in 2008 at age 18. Since then he has launched his own multimedia label/event series, Connect, and worked with a wide array of collaborators ranging from Arca to National Geographic astrophysicist Stephon Alexander. Alexander and Rioux are scheduled to release their collaborative LP, Here Comes Now, summer of 2014 on Connect, which they debuted live at Low End Theory in Los Angeles in November 2013.
