Noughts and Exes 2007年成立伊始只是五个志同道合的朋友小打小闹聚在一起，偷得浮生半日闲来共同创作喜欢的乐曲。 但对音乐的热情让他们很快找到了乐队的方向，并随即发行了第一张唱片《Act One, Scene One》。此后两年乐队的核心作曲Joshua Wong和Gideon So重新检视了乐队的发展并设定了新的音乐理念。 为了突出一种舒适但又自然的音乐氛围，他们由钢琴，原声吉他以及独唱开始，构造出了目前Noughts and Exes的雏形。 这种全新的音乐很快吸引了女声兼铁琴手Kerrie-Anne，鼓手Alex Bedwell的加入，为乐队带来了更有层次的声响。但所有乐队成员都承认，直到乐队又增加了大提琴手Marianne以及贝斯Winnie，整个Noughts and Exes的“新”声音才算完整了。回顾Noughts and Exes的发展，从当年的五人组，到核心时候的两人组，再到目前的六人组；一路走来，期许带给你不同的音乐体验。

Atmospheric indie rock quintet Noughts & Exes hail from the eclectic North Point Neighborhood of Hong Kong, China. The band was formed by video director/graphic artist Joshua Wong after his former group, the similarly themed Whence He Came, disbanded. The group is rounded out by bass player Benson, drummer Ah Ding, and cellist Jennifer Skidmore. The group's debut album, Act One, Scene One, arrived in April 2008 on Omerta Group Records.
