Forgotten Woods

来自挪威的Forgotten Woods可称为自杀黑金属的鼻祖了。成立于1991年，在发行了数张小样后，乐团于1994年发行了第一张全长专集As the Wolves Gather。就当时来看，乐团自杀黑式的凄厉唱腔显得十分独特，加上虽压抑却十分流畅的旋律始终贯穿。

Additional notes
The founders and only constant members who played on all of the albums are Olav Berland and Rune Vedaa. Forgotten Woods never had an long-ranging drummer. On the debut album, it's Jarle Swahn who was in as a session drummer. On their EP 'Sjel Av Natten', it's Odd Ivar Tysse who's playing the drums, the same person who produced Forgotten Wood's comeback album 'Race of Cain'.
Reinhardt Toresen also did backing vocals on 'En Natt Med Storm Og Ravners Skrik' on the 'Sjel Av Natten' EP.
