Evile

Evile是一个英国鞭笞金属团体，在2004年于哈德斯菲尔德（Huddersfield）成立。
主唱兼吉他手Matt Drake及鼓手Ben Carter为高中同学，同样喜欢金属制品（Metallica），合组乐团以翻唱他人歌曲为主。后来加入Ben的兄弟Ol Drake当主奏吉他手，而随后贝斯手Mike Alexander主动加入。他们自己录了两张EP，All Hallows Eve以及Hell。在2006年获得机会替Exodus的欧洲巡回开场，名声渐渐打开，并得到Earache Records的一张合同。他们在2007年发行第一张专辑Enter the Grave。 Evile在2008年初替Megadeth的欧洲巡回开场，四月份与Exodus欧洲巡回演出，六月份参与法国的Hellfest。

Huddersfield, England's Evile are one of many new millennium bands attempting to revitalize the art of thrash metal without straying too far from its original early-'80s template. Formed in 2004, the quartet is comprised of siblings Matt (vocals, rhythm guitar) and Ol Drake (lead guitar), Mike Alexander (bass), and Ben Carter (drums), and recorded a self-produced EP entitled All Hallows Eve that same year. Several demos followed, and after being voted the U.K.'s best unsigned act by readers of Terrorizer magazine, Evile were quickly snapped up by Earache Records, releasing their debut long-player, Enter the Grave, in the fall of 2007.
