1974.10.12 生于德克萨斯州，Shane在2000年出过一张同名专辑《Shane McAnally》，现在主要从事写歌和制作人等工作。已获得多项格莱美奖（2014年最佳乡村专辑和最佳乡村歌曲）。曾为Lee Ann Womack, Kenny Chesney, Reba McEntire, Jake Owen, Luke Bryan, The Band Perry, Lady Antebellum, and Miranda Lambert等写过歌，获得乡村音乐学院奖“the Songwriter of the Year in 2014”。
广为大家熟悉的应该是Shane在07年的电影《Shelter》里奉上的六首原声（Lie to me、More than this、I Like that……）
Shane已出柜并已结婚，目前有一个儿子和一个女儿。
