Ashen Light

Ashen Light is a black metal band hailing from Russia, Moscow. The group formed in 1997,under the name of Pepel'nyi Svet and is comprised of several former members of the bands:Crystal Abyss, Divizion S-187, Sinful (Rus), Blackcrowned (Rus).
Ashen Light is notable for its well integrated folklore into black metal. The band's music is purposely similar in style and construction to the Second Wave of Norwegian black metal bands of the early 1990s. The lyrical themes reign from Paganism, Ancient Legends, in the bands comencing years, and to latere more Satanism related themes.
