by Sean WestergaardWisconsin-based Far Corner consist of William Kopecky on fretted and fretless basses, Dan Maske on keyboards, Angela Schmidt on cello and violin, and Craig Walkner on drums. Each is classically trained and has performed in a wide variety of musical settings. The repertoire ranges from completely scored compositions to completely free improvisations. Stylistically indebted to Univers Zero and other RIO bands, they came together in 2003, releasing their self-titled debut of avant chamber rock in 2004. Endangered followed in early 2007.
