First bursting onto the Christian music circuit in the late '90s, LaRue's charming impressions were an instant liking among young people and 1999's self-titled debut sparked the hit "Reason," in which the video was a popular feature on the Disney Channel. Two years later, LaRue returned with an edgy, more mature sophomore effort, titled Transparent.
