Boy with a Fish

Based in Ithaca, NY, the group consists of Jeff Claus (guitars and vocals), Judy Hyman (electric violin, viola, and vocal), Rick Hansen (accordion and keyboards), Jay Olsa (bass), and Ryan Cady (drums). Claus and Hyman are founding members of the eccentric bluegrass/alternative rock group the Horse Flies, Olsa and Hansen play in Plastic Nebraska, and Cady divides his time by performing with fellow Ithaca natives Hubcap. Boy with a Fish's debut, Birds Fly Backwards, was released in April 2004 on Left Ear Records.
