Turboweekend

Turboweekend is a band from Copenhagen. Part classic synth pop, part bouncy electro-rock with a moody soulful twist. Perhaps one of Denmarks best live acts.
The three members have known each other since 4th grade, and have played together for ages, but this particular band was formed in 2006.
After releasing a self financed 12″ with the single Into You and remixes by CopyFokking, Tolstrup/Whinter and James Braun in the winter 2006/2007, the band signed with CPH Rec in 2007. They played at Roskilde Festivals upcoming scene the summer of 2007 and shortly hereafter put out the debut album ’Night Shift’ in Denmark. This album nominated the group for Best Act of The Year in the two biggest award shows in Denmark (P3 Gold and Zulu Awards), and featured the three radio singles, Into You, Wash Out, and Glowing Vision, the first of which was power played as Ugen Uundgåelige (Can’t Miss Hit of the Week) on P3.
The brand new second album, Ghost Of A Chance, has just been released and the new improved band will be bringing the songs out to venues and festivals over the next couple of months.
