Mental Defect was founded in November 2008 by Guitarplayer Tien. He searched for musicans, wich want to make a new style of metal. Singer Clodi was the first, who follows his call.
In May 2009 Mental Defect were complete for the first time. They recorded a demo CD and played a few shows in their region. Even the "German Horror Magazin" reportet about them.
But the band had to fight with shake-ups on the drums until they were complete again in Summer 2010 with drummer Dave. His multifaceted play and his excellent timing affors Mental Defect to apply new styles and instruments. The songs are written true to the motto „Anything goes, as long as it's fun and sounds hot“. On stage, Mental Defect always suprise with professional themeshows. In 2010, their concert halls turned to emergency rooms, 2011 the fans will enter a metal-casino and in 2012 there will be a theme, too.
