shuhari

shuhari is a Japanese instrumental post-rock band from Tokyo. Their musical source is Japanese "Bushido".
The band consists of Kohei (guitar), Kotaro (drums), and Kodai (bass guitar). Shuhari was formed by Kohei and Kotaro in 2008 and soon after, Kodai joined the band as a bass player. 
In 2009, they were looking for a guitar player and they met Taichi who can make sound exactly what they needed. Also, 2009 is a year when they started a music festival that is called “Tsuruginomai”. In 2010, they made their first independent album “shuhari”.
In 2011, Taichi decided to quit Shuhari to improve his different carrier. After he left, they went to their first tour in Taiwan and China.
Because of that experience, they keep trying to go to different countries.
前バンドを解散後、kohei(G)、kotaro(Dｒ)それぞれが日本を離れ、一年間という時間を使い様々な国を旅し、出会った異なる国の人々、素晴らしい風景。己の心模様。また、そこから感じ得た、日本人の目から見る世界や、世界から見る日本、人類、心の底でつながっている宇宙、神々、そういった自分達の持つ日本人の心を世界へ伝えたいと願う気持ちをもとに2008年9月、以前から友達であった kodai(G/B)を加えshuhariを結成。
都内を中心にLIVE活動。2009年より、より広く深く宇宙との繋がり、人との繋がりを感じる為に『剣乃舞』と言う名のpartyを主催。2009年8月に第１回目を多摩川の河川で行い成功を収める。その日よりseki(G)を加え現メンバー構成になる。
2010年６月にファーストアルバムの製作に入る。自分達の演奏と言う心を大切にする為にレコーディングをオール一発録りで行う。
同年８月、MIX作業と平行し『剣乃舞２０１０』を秩父の中津川の王冠キャンプ倶楽部にて開催。同年１０月ファーストアルバム「shuhari」をリリース。
2011年3月seki(G)が脱退。原点に立ち戻り現在3人で活動中。
同年４月、同士であるpororocks,ONC,HalfMileRadiusと共に初めての台湾ツアーを成功させる。
