Singer Alex Flanigan began performing at age 4, and ever since that day she had the dream to perform for audiences of thousands and more. By age 12 she had toured the cathedrals of Great Britain as a member of her church choir. To further her knowledge she studied with her mentor and vocal coach Greg Colossale (founder of the regionally prestigious "Backbeat City" school of music and performance arts). This is where Alex continued to hone her vocal and performance skills. In high school Alex participated in several well-known plays and theatrical productions both in and outside of school. She also attended the Academy of the Arts in Hartford CT as a vocal major. Which brought her to Italy in her sophomore year of high school to diversify her musical experiences. In 2007 Alex was nominated "Best Female Performer" for her performance of the leading role in an off Broadway stage production of the musical "Hair". While also performing at fairs and stages around CT. For many years Alex has demonstrated her vocal prowess in live settings such as theaters, clubs, regional fairs, and professional sports events as well as in the recording studio. Finally, in September 2009 Alex recorded songs by songwriter and friend Thom Sebastian in Nashville with producer (and former Little Texas front man) Tim Rushlow. In March of 2010 Alex will return to Nashville with Thom to perform those and other original songs for "Music City" audiences and industry professionals.
