Afromental

Afromental is a Polish pop group from Olsztyn.
The group has released four singles: &I've Got What You Need& (2007), &Thing We've Got& (2008), &Happy Day& (2008), and &Pray 4 Love& (2009). They have released two full-length albums on EMI Poland, and their 2009 release Playing with Pop reached #19 on the OLIS charts.
 
Band Story: On 12 October 2007 band released their debut album entitled The Breakthru. The album was promoted by single &I've Got What You Need&, and it was qualified to participate at the festival Top Trendy 2007 in Sopot. In 2008 the band took part in qualifying for the Eurovision Song Contest, in which the group performed the song &Thing We've Got&.
In 2009 Afomental appeared in the second season of the television series 39 i pół, which presented the world premiere recording. The next song the band recorded for the Polish dance movie Kochaj i tańcz (Love and Dance). On 9 March 2009 the band released the group's second longplay Playing With Pop, also accompanied by their previous album. June 13, 2009 the band received the Superjedynka (Polish Music Prize granted by Polish Public Television - TVP) in the category the band of the year.
