Bergmál

Bergmál is a Post-Rock band hailing from Motala, Sweden.
The band consists of four young friends sharing the love for good music.
Since the start in late summer 2009 the band have settled for a more up-tempo, aggressive style of post-rock.
 
In september 2009 the band released the EP ”Unni”, which withheld three tracks. This release generated both good and bad feedback, some saying it was a good start, and some saying it was too mediocre.
 
After rehearsing and experimenting with different sounds and genres they decided to record six new songs.
In november 2010 they entered Vintage Loft Studios ( http://www.myspace.com/vintagels ) outside Gothenburg, Sweden and recorded the EP; &Under Månen Lever Jag&. Mixing electric guitars, bass and drums with audio samples and piano to create the sound they had been looking for.
 
In late march 2013 they released their third EP 'Saker man tänker på när det är tyst'. This EP marks their strive toward a heavier sound with great contrasts. The beginning of a song differs greatly to the end and it invites the listener to a wide spectrum of feelings.
