Born in December 1980. Grew up in Boston. Moved to New York City in 1999 at the age of 18 and have lived there on and off ever since. I have self-released 8 LP length albums
I also self-released a book of poetry entitled "The Return of the High Priestess and other Poems" and "New Moon Prayer and other Poems of Love and Fear". They are available only through contacting me at mrturnercody@hotmail.com.
I also have a song on the compilation "Antifolk Vol.1" released by Rough Trade in 2002. Jim Flynn, Ish Marquez, Adam Green, Kimya Dawson, Seth Hebert, and Dianne Cluck among others are on it as well. It seems like so long ago but there was a time when i and these old buggers sat in the sun, swilled chilled soda and learned about charlie patton.
I am also a member of New York's oh so fashionable Citizens Band. I hope to appear in a film version someday alongside its cast members, playing the part of Lefty the long lost soldier boy.
The belgian label b.y_records recently compiled material from the first years albums into "60 Seasons - A compilation 2000 - 2005". Available on www.byrecords.com

I AM HAPPY TO BE NEWLY MARRIED AND CURRENTLY PLANNING TO TOUR ON THE CONTINENT OF EUROPE. I AM WELL INTO A NEW RECORD THE NAME OF WHICH IS YET TO BE DISCLOSED. IT FEATURES HERMAN DUNE, JON NATCHEZ, AND KELLY PRATT AMONG OTHER NOTABLES.
