Fan Tsung-pei invited eight outstanding musicians to work together in composing music and fulfilling an old wish in creating his first gospel album. The album is dominated by the cello and embellished by dialogue with the violin, piano, harp, and clarinet. Beautiful melodies are woven into the extremely simple orchestration. The elegant, lingering, radiant, warm sound of the strings, which transmit blessings of devotion, is the perfect therapy for any and all souls in need of comfort.
