The release of their much awaited third album, Tres, a 10-track album featuring the Canadian R&B singer Dominique Fils-Aime on “Stars Down” and “Pulse,” as well as the guitarist Mario Camarena of the Californian math rock band CHON in “Time (feat. Mario Camarena of CHON),” a progressive, instrumental track reminiscent of “Saigo No Bansan (The Last Supper).” The album also contains the track “Phases,” which projects a unique interpretation and approach to techno, house and electro music.

2018年5月23日，MOTK全新专辑《tres》正式发行, 《tres》融合了前卫摇滚、Trip -Hop、电子等多种风格，并首次在作品中加入人声。首发单曲《Time》找来美国前卫乐团CHON吉他手Mario Camarena 共同演奏，对于此次合作，Mario 说道：mouse on the keys的音乐独一无二，能与他们合作是非常有趣的一次经历。第二支全新单曲《Stars down》则找到加拿大灵魂乐女歌手Dominique Fils-Aimé 合作，完成了MOTK 的第一支“人声单曲”，风格上也转变为柔和的Trip-hop风格。除了以上两位客座乐手/主音，MOTK 还与美国后核乐队La Dispute 的主唱Jordan Dreyer 合作了《Shapeless Man》。这些风格各异的全新作品也将在Mouse on the Keys 2018年中国巡演现场为乐迷呈现。
