This Is Country Music

This Is Country Music is the eighth studio album by American country music artist Brad Paisley. The album was originally scheduled for an April 19th release, but has been pushed back to be released on May 24th, 2011, on Arista Nashville.

Brad Paisley debuted the title track from the album on the 44th CMA Awards on November 10, 2010. The response from the fans was so positive that Paisley decided to finish the studio recording and ship it to radio.

The album will contain numerous collaborations with other artists, including Don Henley, Sheryl Crow, Blake Shelton, and Marty Stuart. Carrie Underwood will also appear on a duet titled "Remind Me". Clint Eastwood contributes by whistling during an instrumental track named after the actor. It was announced at Sony's annual boat show at Country Radio Seminar that the collaboration with Alabama, titled "Old Alabama", would be the next single following the title track. The song was released to country radio on March 14th, 2011.
