Teddy Thompson's self-produced, third album features personal touches on some of his favorite country songs. "Down Low" is the only original track by Thompson on the album. Six songs include string arrangments by Robert Kirby, while "My Blue Tears" features strings arranged by Rufus Wainwright. This is certainly not the first time Wainwright has collaborated with friend and fellow songwriter Thompson, as they have worked together on previous albums by both artists.
